The only problem with Mind-Trick is that it only works on the weak-willed.

Mind Trick and it's sub-powers.
(remember, some Jedi can use Mind tricks on COMPUTERS. Luke uses the Force to affect a machine in the Black Fleet Crisis trilogy)

Let's see
First, at work, the various attractive girls would all be getting hot flashes for me
Next, time to visit the bank and run my bank account into the sky
Oh, did I mention no one is winning the local lottery until it's into the 32 million level, and I'll some how get the only ticket?
(Go to the lottery corp headqaurters, mind trick my way in, mind control the head of the corp to find out where the computer is, have my ticket be printed around Wednesday and no other tickets of that number printed, and finally on the night in question, mind trick out the results I want)
Let's see
Lots of starlets and I are gonna get real friendly
I also think I want to visit Ottawa, Washington, Paris, Berlin, Moscow, etc

I'd also go mind trick the Palestinian authority to crack down hard, just to watch the fireworks.

Bill Gates and a load of other money powerful people would be quickly my slaves and be losing ridiculous bets to me, giving me control of there companies.

boy, would I have fun.

Oh, I'd also mind trick George Lucas into saying in an interview that all of Star wars was canon (both on TV and on the DVd's and so forth) so I can watch all the purist drop a load

And I'd go visit paramount.....

Mind tricks would be so much fun. I'd never have to do any work ever again.

Id take TK. scrape up about $1,000 cash head to vegas. The key here is to walk around working out the kinks untill I can move dice and roulett balls with out anyone noticing. Make someone else start wining. join in with others who are jumping on their bandwagon of winnings. change cassinos rinse repeat.

Use money to start my own locksmithing business.

That's a nice thing to say to a girl when you're trying to run your hand up her skirt, but you shouldn't take it as a particularly strong form of evidence.

Telekinesis, through the mind tricks come in a very close second. I, unfortunately, have not managed to rid myself of the last vestiges of a consience (curses!) so stealing money and fucking with people's minds would eventually fuck me up.

TK, on the other hand, would have many beneficial aspects for me, especially at work. I'd never have to get grease on my hands again.

And although I don't get into fights often, it would definately be a boost for when I do.

I´d take disappearing into the Force a la Obi Wan and Yoda in the OT. Even reading and manipulating minds doesn´t hold a candle to immortality as far as I´m concerned.

Yeah, immortality as a blue shadow. And he fades away in Zahn's trilogy.

Yoda and crazy ol´ Ben didn´t seem unhappy with their fate, and I´d rather be a blue shadow than not be at all.

It'll certainly sell more action figures than just having you kick the bucket a la Qui-Gon.

Mind Trick, obviously. If I ever get caught in a fight, I can quickly Mind Trick the closest guy and confuse him just long enough to escape. Plus there's the whole money-power-babes thing.

Actually Qui-Gon has quite a few figures himself.

Mind Trick, or rather, Force telepathy.

With TK as a second choice.

Gaah, why can't I have both ?

The old jedi mind trick for me. Most of the people around here seem weak minded. No problem. Build a nice home over looking a nice canyon or bay somewhere. Never work a day in the rest of my life. Have very big parties going on all the time. Take trips around the world in my very own 747. Have Halo networked games when ever I want. I'll take enough money to support all my friends and just hang out for the rest of our lives.

Now I'm depressed. I want jedi mind trick now  ...

I would go with increased physical agility. The ability to leap up 30 feet or move so fast that my movements are blurred could definitely come in handy.

The ability to attract princesses. Although that may just be a Skywalker trait.

Yeah, but they'd also be related to you. You sure you want that power? :D
