you mean like it appears in this shot?
it's the devastator model with the enhanced X shaped tractor beam array replaced (also note the heavy armor) but WEG labeled it Avenger.

A very good design, probably could call it the Imperator-I [Mod 2]. Still for sheer firepower I prefer the DEUCE simply for the number of arcs it can cover.

I noticed that it also had quad heavy guns instead of the twins. Still, an excellent job.

Why doesn't the card call it an "Imperator" class Star Destroyer? How official is the CCG in regards to that issue?

CCG's lore is official, as are the names of the characters. The ship classes are not official, but they usually count as official because they are generally related to the card titles.
