I think we can easily blame it on bad droid design. If I were to design the battledroids, they should have looked more like small spiders armed with blaster turrets. They would be able to access all sorts of hard terrain, hard to hit because of their small size and they can be deployed en masse from helicopter-like vessels.

BDs are designed to fulfill human roles. A spider wouldn't have been able to pilot an AAT, for example.

So, how come the fears of intelligent droids, but not the fear from clones? If they are superior, and free thinking, they can rebel against they're superiors, and being better would make them more dangerous. Are there any sort of... "implants" preventing them from mutiny?

No. Fear of intelligent, INDEPENDENT, droids. Gorm is pretty damn scary, and Iggy wreaked some havoc.

Remember, they're engineered to make them more docile and willing to take orders.

He reprogrammed himself as a master thief, then an assassin. He learned intuition (a rough form of it) by learning how to calculate all possible equations into different outcomes.

But Obi wan and Qui-Gon weren't able to destroy the destroyer droids when they were trying to cut through the door to get to the viceroy, if telekinesis could have taken them out, then why didn't they do it? Could thier shields have interfered with thier force powers? I've heard the force can't be detected by science, but what about this Universal Energy Cage Mike mentions on his AOTC cage, that can nullify force powers.

The Energy Cage was built by Umak Leth, an Imperial engineer guy who apparently replaced Lemilisk's job for Palpatine on Byss while he recovered from his near-final death at Endor for five years since it took one year for the Vizier to find Palpatine's host, the Emperor's Hand Jeng Droga (this is according to Gamer #6, which states Palpatine was not powerful enough to transfer his spirit all the way to Byss from Endor, and instead sent his spirit into his Hand a few systems over), and bring him to Byss where his spirit could be transfered to a clone.

Leth designed the World Devestators and the Galaxy Gun. He also died onboard the Galaxy Gun when the Eclipse II smashed into it.

The YVH Yuuzhan Vong Hunter droids? Those are great. Self-healing armor, more weapons than a Swiss Army knife has accessories, and all kinds of sensors...even olfactory. Their armor can even take a Coralskipper plasma blast in the chest

I'd say that the reason is clones can be reasoned with and would have a form of a conscience. Droids are cold, emchanical, calculating, and ruthless.

Um...concentration maybe? While your deflecting dozens of rapidfire blaster bolts, do you have the concentration fo summon the force, gesture, and send the droid flying? All quickly enough to not be hit in the process?

Um...concentration maybe? While your deflecting dozens of rapidfire blaster bolts, do you have the concentration fo summon the force, gesture, and send the droid flying? All quickly enough to not be hit in the process?

The Droidekas are more firmly planted on the ground, so they can't be pushed over. The shields on the ones on the ship also complicated matters.
