Well it seems like they are an AP bomb and they were being used to try and flush the falcon out of the asteroid. Notice how they were dropping them into craters and places where the falcon might have tried to hide in.

I don't see why shaking the asteroid would overly concern a vessel whose shields can take at least one direct hit from a multi-megaton weapon.

With their shields off it could've caused some dangers.

Since they were blue, and caused no physical damage, I likened them to ion-charge bombs trying to knock out the Falcon's electronics...
Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:
Libertarian philosophy can be boiled down to the phrase, "Work Will Make You Free."

In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!

Not only would it be rather like a modern soldier firing a Sidewinder from a shoulder launcher, but there'd be a fairly significant risk of blowing the soldier apart in the blast... I find it hard to believe that spacetroopers would be deployed at significant distances from ships to be boarded and so forth.
Well if talking about a Standard Delta-7 (and not the Azure Angel II(Anakin's Starfighter)) there isn't room for any warhead period (AOTC:ICS)
Not sure it would matter but the seismic charges where shot out of the Jedi Star Fighter was would a proton torpedo be shot out like. In the game it shoots out and then explodes and in the game the ship dosent have proton torpedos they have the charges.
