Dosn't the Jedi Master of Yoda's species in KOTOR speak in a similar fashion? It could be something as simple as a twisted accent that afffects them.

Although I prefer Spanky's explanation too... He does it because he can and enjoys the 'woo zen' component of botched grammar.

Actually, Vandar talks using the normal grammar, not Yoda's.
