Speeder bike, heavily modded. Chromed engine assembly for a start and nicely airbrushed flames on the steering vanes...

Why not just go with the Emperor's pick and use an Executor class SSD?

A heavily modified (engine, shield & weapon) YT-1300 with quantum crystalline hull and armour. Of course, you'll have to make sure that you have high quality power cores and equally high quality repulsors for those landing platforms which are not as well equipped for such a heavy craft.

I'd fly in an Air Edsel. It'd be sweet. Trust me.
And you may ask yourself, 'Where does that highway go to?'

I can just see it now...

Coruscant, a nice residential neighbourhood, the local stormies are talking to an old dearie called Vera:

"Every night at about 10pm he goes past... Making such a racket! I mean, I wouldn't mind so much, but I'm trying to watch Matlock... And then he goes past in his SSD and all the windows rattle and all I can hear is that great throbbing hum from his engines."
"OK, and what did you say he was driving?"
"A SSD."
"You're sure of that? Sure it wasn't an ISD, or even a VSD?"
"My son serves on the Executor. I know an SSD when I see one!"
"OK, we'll see what we can do."

Later:

The SSD comes rumbling past and the two stormies on speeder bikes hit the blues and twos and pull over the SSD...
"Sir, we've been receiving noise complaints about your vessel."
"You sure it was mine?"
"Look around you sir. Do you see ANY other SSDs around here?"
"Well..."
"You don't do you."
"No."
"I'm going to write up a fine, and ask that in future you either keep yourself orbital or install a better muffler."
"A better muffler? But I just got my engine assembly chromed!"
"I don't care! Your lucky I don't arrest you! I mean legally an SSD isn't even a civilian vessel, but your papers seem in order..."

The engine wash would wipe out entire blocks in an instant. Hell that’s going to be a problem with a any capital unit.

If I lived on Coruscant, I would want a Sekotan vessel. A Sekotan ship is COOL! They are organic, living vessels that only work for the owner. If the owner dies, the ship dies.

There wouldnt be a street left for it, or even city blocks. Me, personally, id take a nice simple shuttle. They are spacious, comfortable, pretty good speed an armarment.

I'd choose the speeder Anakin took, because it's fast and stylish.

But, I'd want something like what James Bond would have, except with repulsors. Complete with laser cannons, minituare concussion missiles, tiny seismic charges, and an ejector seat. That wouldn't be useful when you're 2 kilometers above ground.

I would choose a Sekotan ship. They are actually living ships that only the master can pilot. It doesn't respond to anybody else. If the master dies, the ship dies. For more information on these ships read Star Wars: Rogue Planet. :)

The Swordfish... now that I got that out of my system, I suppose I would want an assault shuttle, heavily modified for my comfort of course
