It was abut calculating from visuals only, not about all sci-fi calcs .

And I have not asked about speed compared to another universe, just about SW speeds.

BTW - I asked a question, then made a mistake (if some of you try to learn polish, then we can talk about errors), ok. What's wrong with it?
Or what's wrong with people that dont know physics (and dont want to know it).

Just let it go, Kruk. By arguing, you're digging yourself into a hole. Let it go.

On the original topic, spaceships might "look" slow, but look at those clips with astronauts and space shuttles and sattelites. They also look slow, especially if the camera is angled in such a way that the Earth can't be seen. But then, in reality, they're actually spinning around the Earth so fast that one revolution takes just a few minutes (30, right?).

Neway, Kruk, just take it easy.

Because it's the sort of "mistake" that indicates massive ignorance. No one goes to his keyboard intending to type "acceleration" and somehow accidentally types "velocity".
Or what's wrong with people that dont know physics (and dont want to know it).
What's wrong with people don't know and don't want to know about physics? Simple: they're idiots, particularly if they consider themselves to be sci-fi fans. It's like saying you're a huge enthusiast about medieval warfare but you don't know how a catapult works. It indicates stupidity and intellectual laziness, and on this board, that means you are a useless shit. Perhaps there are other boards where stupid intellectually lazy people are considered honourable, contributing members, but not here. Here you're considered a useless shit.

PS. The difference between velocity and acceleration is like simple addition: it is something that everyone should know because it's so incredibly basic, and they teach it in high school. There is simply no excuse to be ignorant of it.
