Backstory:
Tramer Finc has had a hard life. Raised onboard the interstellar passenger ship "Begotten Grandure" by his widowed mother, Tramer developed a fondness for machines, forced to spend hours locked in his mother's small cabin with their ancient E2 protocol droid while his only parent waited on the upper class passengers. When he was old enough, he left his mother and set of on his own, hoping that his techincal skill would earn him enough money to buy a ship of his own.
As he grew out of adolescensce, Tramer moved from ship to ship along various backwater hyperspace routes, fixing droids and patching up internal systems. After nearly a decade of hard, lowly work, Tramer had amassed a small nest egg, and was on his way to Kassera II on a small transport to pruchase a used freighter when he found his cabin ransacked and every last credit gone.
Unable to pay his transport fare, Tramer was thrown off during a supply stop on the small Rim world Tatooine, and was forced to start all over again. Eventually, he found a steady job with the local port authority in Mos Espa, maintaining the subteraanean tanks that supply passing vessels with fuel.

I don't think this is a good idea. The SW universe should not be turned into a fan-fiction domain IMO.

Yeah, whats next, that tall skinny robot bounty hunter seen in one shot of ESB takes over the Death Star II and gets destroyed right before his plan to take over unfurls. Nobody would ever do that, right? Right?

Hey, if "professional" writers can churn out crap, random fans can´t do much worse.

I shall try to write something suitably mundane.
Is that the guy who referred Kenobi to Chewie (who I believe already has a backstory) or someone I haven't paid attention to?

Guys, ST accepted fan scripts as far as I recall, and we all know how great the ST movies turned out....

When a sufficient number of new entries have been created, the database will be updated. So it will probably be a couple months before we see any fan entries canonized.
