Yeah, I mean cmon...Its not like Dooku was able to stand up to Skywalker and Kenobi in a straight fight, getting the best of Obi Wan and standing toe to toe with Skywalker until Palpatine's 'advice' gave Anakin assistance (RoTS Novelization.)

And while there is a debate over who won the fight between Mace and Palpatine, whether or not Palpatine threw the fight, keep in mind that Mace never "took out" Palpatine, seeing as how it was Mace Windu that ended up a bloody splat on a Coruscant sidewalk.

Again as i've said before, I don't think Dooku would adapt to Mace's fighting style, but I'd sure love to see if anyone had anything else NEW to say rather than "Id Imagine...I mean cmon...."

None of us can tell for sure who'd win, It's probably not set in stone who'd win anyway.

Also, in response to the insult:
Little things amuse small minds, that's why you're such a big wanker.

Let's see... he needed to use two Super Battledroids as coverfire, and kept Obi-Wan at a distance throughout the fight. Eventually trapping him underneath a fallen walkway.

Anakin soon bested him in swordsplay, killing Dooku.

There's no way Dooku would have won that fight fairly, even when he didn't play fair, he got killed, and easily.

According to the RotS Novelization... Mace Windu was cutting loose, and letting himself almost fall to the Darkside.
RotS Novel wrote:The Darkness had no power over him.
But-
Neither did he have power over it.
As for actually beating Palpatine, if it wasn't for Anakin's interference:

Mace disarmed Palpatine and backed him into the corner, the way the Novellization spells it out, Mace would have won outright if it wasn't for Anakin's interference.

Of course, the Novellization was written by Matthew Stover... so it may be biased in Mace's favour.

Overall... according to the Novellization, Dooku would lose, whether quickly or not would be up for debate.

The same sort of bullshit that people spout in a debate/argument when they're losing, or proven to be a fucking moron. "Well it doesn't really matter because we'll never know for sure!"

Wow, i'm standing in a puddle of my own piss over that one.

He didn't win, but he sure as hell stood toe to toe. And at what point did I say he would win? I was using it as an example of skill, that he could fight against Obi-Wan and Anakin one on two.

Also, Dooku was regaining momentum in that fight until Palpatine helped Anakin with advice, showing him how he could channel his emotions

Like I fucking said, it doesn't matter who should have 'won' that fight. Windu ended up the fucking stain on the sidewalk. Which means that Windu never "took out" Palpatine as was suggested.

I'll never hear the end of this will I? I make one crack about Stover having a hard-on for Mace Windu, and you seem to think that i'm trying to discount everything he's written? Spare me the dishonest bullshit.

And did I not say earlier in this post that my vote WAS FOR FUCKING MACE WINDU. JESUS GODDAMN CHRIST. But it is the bolded portion of the above quote that i've BEEN TRYING TO FUCKING TALK ABOUT.

Anger leads to the Dark Side of the Force... (just had to use that line)

I'm just offering that example. not to refute you, just to offer the bloody example okay.

Hey that's fine, because apparently you personally can't refute me so do whatever you have to do to feel good about yourself.

EDIT:

If you have any other little personal quips for me unrelated to the thread/topic take it to PMs.

Actually... why would I refute someone arguing the same point?

Because you apparently contest Dooku's ability to put up a decent fight, which I have been arguing. You have in turn been quoting the RoTS Novelization in attempts to prove otherwise.

EDIT: And you've also "imagined" a few things about Palpatine's lightsaber prowess, completely misinterpreted and continued to misinterpret a statement I made about Stover and the Windu character. Plus you've also felt it necessary to point out several things about who actually won the Windu/Palpatine figght completely irrelevant. I only brought it up because another poster said that Mace "took out" Palpatine, which I disagreed with by pointing out that Mace was the one who was killed and that Sidious went on to have his Empire.
