First of all, normally said "singularities" are moved by the Vong crawlers themselves, so if Luke maneuvering them is wank, so is the Vong. Of course, the Vong are a wank concept, but...

Second, a singularity can be of very low mass. It just has to be very dense.

Three, it is not even clear those are singularities in our sense - IIRC there was some discussion about them not acting like real black holes. All we are really sure is that they are some kind of point defence that can warp nearby space.

Four, technically, Luke didn't move them. He stopped them from moving. The Vong accidentally moved them on themselves after Luke released it, kind of like how one might lose balance when in a tug-of-war if the opponent suddenly lets go of the rope.

I'd also point out that - whatever those things are claimed to be - they are not true singularities. Otherwise all the atmosphere they would have been sucking down would have wiped out the armies well before the battle.

Shields don't block any kind of Jedi abilities. Universal energy cages are unique and specifically designed for their purposes.

Its a brief bit where Cardas and his crew are in the brig, and Cardas gets dragged before Thrawn for a bit of introduction and an agreement in language lessons.

So we're back to the Jedi being dumb.

It could be that the sturdy construction of the droidekas would make them harder to destroy, simply by smashing them into a wall. That, combined with shields, could make a droideka a formidable opponent, even for the Jedi.

Two things. First, Luke doesn't face any droidekas in NJO. Second, the droideka in Survivor's Quest was hardly malfunctioning. The only thing wrong with it was that the Vaagari couldn't program anything more complex than a simple guard program into the droideka. Hell, it shrugged off a TK'd support beam.

Unseen queen is an interesting story. I hate troy denning, the killicks, Zekk and Jaina the fact that you can do a 180 in hyperspace, hyperdrives have nacels(some of this from joiner king). Jacen is about the only cool thing that and him and tenel getting laid and making babies. Oh ben skywalker needs to visit a compnor reeducation facility to help past this bug hugginess.

SPOILERS for Unseen queen>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

The jedi go to the killicks world to ask them to stop harboring pirates and distributing black membrosia. han mentions something about knowing about this fizz stuff that is plauging the kilicks UnuThul force attacks him. Demanding the Jedi tell him what it is. They explain that they do not know but can find out. Unu tells them ok but han and luke stay as hostages. The jedi fly away. leia and Saba have several battles of the will. Jacen goes to Hapes because Tenel asked him to, ben is along because jacen is babysitting. the kilicks attack because Ta'a Chume hired them to kill her week old jedi grand daughter (Jacen and tenel spent one night together in joiner king). Ben goes crazy because Jacen, Tenel and a YVH nanny driod are hosing blue killiks and jacen force chokes him(left bruise marks on the kids throat where he grabed him) then suppress the memorys so ben can never remember what happend. The GA launches the Fifth Fleet(though denning obvoiusly does not know a thing about the fifth fleet) under a bothan who is supposed to be as good or better then Thrawn(he beats the Thrawn simulator! like a computer is going to be as good as the real thing) He captures Leia when she tries to run his blockade. Luke and han escape and try to sabatoge the killiks fleet which is preparing to attack the GA blockade. Most the Killik ships are stopped but Unuthul uses the force to deflect broadsides from a VSD and then captures it and escapes. Jacen conns the joiner jedi into launching an attack on the chiss to keep them from attacking the kiliks. His real intention is to have the chiss retaliat and wipe out the killiks because of a force vision he had. Oh and he basicly destroyed Ta'a Chumes mind be going in and taking over(sounded kind of like Joruus C'baoth and Covell) Any way jacen is cool, the chiss are cool, very few jedi are cool and every body else should be bdzed!

I goddamn hope that the writers will make Jacen fall and pay for his shitty little antics. Using Force Grip on a child? Then mind-raping him so that Unca Luke would not be angry that his child just got "Vader-administered" by Jacen I the Prick?

I hope he dies in such a pussy way that even Jawas would laugh and piss at him.

I never liked Jacen to begin with and now he keeps getting worse and worse. Vergere sure did great teaching with him... And I thought that Luke had dismissed Vergere's silly little sayings about dark side not actually existing in Unifying Force and practically telling Jacen "grow a pair of balls and see what's really going on, not just your philosophical bullshit".

of all the characters so far Jacen is not the worst in the DN trilogy. Ben is a bug lover and would rather watch them kill his family then vice versa. Jaina is bug lover/joiner and stupid, same goes for Zekk. Luke hasn't done much, but seems fairly cool. Mara's cool as always, the killiks should be wiped out, more power to the Chiss if they can do it!

Jacen didn't permnatly hurt ben and the mind wipe was more to protect his own child then to hid from luke and mara. True Jacen could have been nicer, but what are you supposed to do in the middle of a battle and one of you allies turns on you? The Killiks are a cancer, UnuThul and the Dark Jedi altered the basic organizem and now it is spreading uncontrollable. Chemo(Chiss bio-weapons), radiation(BDZ) and surgery(Lightsaber) should have taken place much sooner. Jacen and Tenel want to have sex why not she already told him she would lend the fleet(she should have left the killiks out to dry) so he's not really buying it.

My god, are they turning every single child of Skywalker and Solo lines into complete morons? Even including some distant friends (Zekk)? What the hell are the writers thinking... They better have some very good "dark side is slowly corrupting them" explanation, since that sounds like Jacen in NJO start all over again.

They all have their own weaknesses, which are showing out big time. Jaina was simply stupid, along with most of the Jedi that were once part of the mindmeld Jedi fighter squadron, since they stayed on Qoribu long enough to be Joiner-ed. Then again, even before becoming a Joiner, she didn't think too much.

Jacen's starting to look a little like Anakin (his grandfather, not dead brother) in terms of pushing everyone around to suit his own interests.
