Mustafar has no moons, but Jestafed, the planet it orbits, a gas giant, could easily have more than just Mustafar, maybe many.

Additionally, Complete Locations says that there's another gas giant, Lefrani, that tugs on Mustafar gravitationally. The object blocking the sun could just as easily be that.

It can't be the Death Star/Great Weapon, because when we saw it it had a skeletal structure which could be seen through. Something like that can't eclipse a sun like that, because the light would go right through it, perhaps to such a degree that the batlestation might be rendered unseen.

I can't address the fourth detail other than to further insist that other than both being made up of circles, the images look nothing alike.

What you are imagining is not a Death Star. To me it looks much more likely to be a highlighted location on Mustafar itself.

Any tips on taking screenshots? The only program I have for doing it is Windows Movie Maker, and it's giving me problems.

Don't bother. The one in the movie is essentially exactly the same as the image shown on the OS.

For what its worth the Wookiepedia estimates that the scene with Tarkin at the end during the construction of the death star is only 10-2 years before Episode IV basing it solely on his appearance and that if the scene was right after the events of Episode III he would appear much much younger.

logicly the first thing they woull build (apart from the main superstructure) would be the Main drive and hyperdrive systemd, in case it was located.

We also see an approach to the SD before it cuts to the bridge scene, and, IIRC, the bridge on the SD doesn't cast a shadow.

It's wrong. The novelization, Dark Lord, and Lucas' own words clinch that.

First of all, Mustafar isn't a moon, it just passes ridiculously close to Jestefad.

Secondly, this could also be a diagram showing TGW being constructed somewhere else.

I think it makes more sense in context for it to be a display highlighting a geographical location on the planet, though.

True, but the command center was covered with tactical displays and diagrams, so the council could keep an eye on multiple locations at once. The construction site of their safest hope for victory, would be one to pay attention to, I'd think.

Yeah, but even image-wise, the idea that the display is for the Great Weapon really doesn't make any sense. I mean, how does it relate? There's nothing there to establish such a connection.

Corusant is hardly one of hardest planets to spell and also knowing that Darth Sidious is behind the CIS recovering those plans is simple matter (Darth Tyranus visited Sidious at Corusant even during the late stages of the Clone Wars even though Corusant is Republic controlled)

For the record, it's Coruscant.

I'm dyslexic and it's an ease for me to spell, but then, I actually learned to get past my disabilities and not use them as a lazy crutch.

Instead of typing "that big city planet, that i cannot spell the name of so i wont bother," you could have looked up the damn name.

Actually you know after seeing that second screenshot I'm waffling back away from Spanky's position. Both spheres, the large one, and the small one, appear to have concentric circles suggesting DS-type apetures. The only thing they lack is an equatorial waistband trench, although considering this is Star Wars, there are two of them, and one of them is much larger than the other, I do have to say it's far more likely to be an "easter egg" placement of a Death Star than, say, an Io-like planetary body.

Oh and by the way, I've never had any problems spelling Coruscant. I've always found the name to have a certain magical quality, like some majestic radiant gem through which life eminates. It really annoys me, therefore, when people do whine about being unable to spell it.

Except they do have the equatorial band. It's just going diagnally.

The "trench" of that "death star" doesn't even go through the center of its alledged "superlaser aperature", it bisects it assymetrically and the line actually goes through the "aperature". The Death Star diagram's trench doesn't go through the aperature, and if it did, it would bisect the thing symmetrically.

In other words, I agree with Spanky.

As for estimating Tarkin's age, he could've had a facelift. Or some surgery. Or longevity treatments that explain why he doesn't look all that different in ANH and ROTS.

You have highlighted two concentric circles with three lines connecting them. That's it. I thought you were actually refering to something else completely, because that didn't even CROSS my mind. It's looks more like some feature on the planet being indicated, and nothing like a superlaser aperature. that's not a Death Star, that's Mustafar.

You're on crack, my friend...
Well, apparently since things need to be bludgeoned into your mind, let's compare shall we?

Screens in all the movies are filled with geometric shapes of vague meaning or purpose. So one happens to look like a Death Star.
