Do the "Legacy" comics affect the LotF Books?

Then again, I suppose you could create a genuinely different Dark or Gray organization, in appearence and ideology. But that would take creativity, and those few authors that possess it and still work for Lucasfilm seem to be focused more on the PT/OT or KOTOR eras.
It's a real pity, too, especially in light of the 'grayness' that seems to dominate the Jedi Order immediately after the end of the NJO Arc. It would be interesting to create the respective 'Light' and 'Dark' orders, but not as clearly defined as the Sith and Jedi were; have both of them be much more gray in ideology, with a large part of the differences between them political as much as ideological.

Regarding the interaction between the Legacy comics and the novels, Pablo Hidalgo had this little blurb on his blog:
Regarding collaboration with the team behind the Star Wars Legacy comic series, [Aaron] Allston noted that there wasn't much creative interaction, though he did mention that he had talked with Jan Duursema to exchange ideas. "We did look at each other's outlines to make sure we didn't step on anybody's toes," added [Troy] Denning.
