Another game examle from Jedi Outcast... Galak Fyarr's powered armor suit (which wasn't that much larger than a human body) had a personal shield generator. The Shield itself actually appeared very similar to the "bubble shield" produced by the Droidekas in fact...

Also:

If Jedi can use the Force to block the heat and toxic gases present in being inches from lava on Mustafar, could they also use it to block the radiation of a personal shield for their time in battle? Or would the "NBC protection" of trooper armor (as someone mentioned earlier) be enough?

I mean it's not as if it requires that extreme of concentration, since Anakin and Obi-Wan were able to have an intense duel, and seemingly no ill effects from the situation other than a little bit of suit on their clothes and some sweat (until Anakin burns up anyway).
fun/fantasy movies existed before the overrated Star Wars came out. What made it seem 'less dark' was the sheer goofy aspect of it: two robots modeled on Laurel & Hardy, and a smartass outlaw with bigfoot co-pilot and their hotrod pizza-shaped ship, and they were sucked aboard a giant Disco Ball. -adw1
Someone asked me yesterday if Dracula met Saruman and there was a fight, who would win. I just looked at this man. What an idiotic thing to say. I mean really, it was half-witted. - Christopher Lee
