The TIE/In is the TIE Interceptor, the TIE that was used to make the TIE/rc, TIE/fc, and TIE/gt is the TIE/ln TIE Fighter. Just FYI.bz249 wrote:TIE/In

I feel that the TIE Interceptor would be a better candidate than the basic TIE Fighter, seeing how the Imperial Navy would be overhauled with Interceptors had the Rebels been less of a problem. As with most, if not all, Imperial starfighter doctrine redesigns, it was too little too late. Perhaps if there was a priority for the best fighters to be at Endor, maybe the Rebels couldn't have had hit the Death Star.

The way people talk about the Imperial Fighters and Test Programs going on ABY 6 as they would the Nazi Superweapons is starting to get aggravating.AK-047 wrote:I feel that the TIE Interceptor would be a better candidate than the basic TIE Fighter, seeing how the Imperial Navy would be overhauled with Interceptors had the Rebels been less of a problem. In that: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/TIE/ln_starfighter I found that the basic TIE fighter employed in the movies is called TIE/In and the Interceptor is another variant. However it is somewhat illogicalGeneral Schatten wrote:The TIE/In is the TIE Interceptor, the TIE that was used to make the TIE/rc, TIE/fc, and TIE/gt is the TIE/ln TIE Fighter. Its ok its an easy mistake.bz249 wrote:In that: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/TIE/ln_starfighter I found that the basic TIE fighter employed in the movies is called TIE/In and the Interceptor is another variant.
