B-Wing: I've always favoured heavy-assault fighters.

If not a starfighter, then probably something like a customized YT-2000.

B-Wing. Nothing like Ion cannons to eliminate a hazzard a lot quicker than totally destroying the ship with blasters. Thick shields are nice too, not to mention the heaviest missle payload of any rebel ship.
