Unique, one-of-a-kind ship, as far as we know.

Wasn't it more of an armed mobile research station?

I don't think RA2 or any other game is high enough on the heirarchy of canon to really count in this sort of thing...

A while back I read through literally every Star Wars book (not counting the NJO series, which wasn't out yet) and I managed to compile a fairly detailed list of every named SD, SSD, VSD, INT, etc. The list is 7 pages in word, so I will only include the SSD's and their Captains:

SSD Aggressor Admiral Roek
SSD Brawl (Iron Fist) Captain Vellar
SSD Executor Admiral Piett
SSD Executor II
SSD Guardian Fleet Admiral Gaen Drommel
SSD Incinerator
SSD Intimidator Commander Jian Paret
SSD Knight Hammer Admiral Daala
SSD Lusankya Captain Joak Drysso
SSD Razor's Kiss Captain Raslan
SSD Reaper Grand Moff Ardus Kaine
SSD Terror Admiral Sarn
SSD Vengeance Admiral Senn

Hope that helps. I would post my entire list but it would be much too large.

While I do agree, this could be timely given how the NEGVV thread looks like it might be turning.

There isn't a hard and fast rule against old threads- in this case, ad_pellaeon had something to add.

It exists in-continuity.

And B-Wings were developed, along with A-Wings, a bit after Yavin. RA2 takes place before Hoth, I believe.

As I understand it, if it s WEEKS old it should be closed. Start a new one if there is something interesting to add (or bring it up in a relevant thread, as mentioned by Ender)
