In my opinion they seems to be an increase in articulation. I didnt get any of the AOTC line but a got a few TPM and there is a defenant improvement. So far the clone troopers have the best articulation from the ones i have. Looks awsome in the gunship giving support fire. Cant wait till i can order the trooper pack from EE.com

How are the figures this time around in terms of those categories?
To me, like the other series, the figures they release later in the line are going to be better. There's two or three Anakins in this run, two Obi Wans, four Grevious's, four Palpatines and an Emperor, and on down the line. I think what fucks people up, is the action features. They're still toys, and a lot of kids love those damned action features. (I never did though.) One Obi Wan kicks, a Grevious explodes, A Palpatine's head spins, shit like that. All in all, the sculpting is still good, and if your going for just a standard layout, thier poses are perfect.

I read on rebelscum.com that Collection 1 of the RotS toys are aimed at kids and so have "action features" and are the main characters, while Collection 2 is for collectors and has minor characters with less action features.

I'm just trying to get all the money I can so I can start going on a binge buying Unleashed figurines. Specifically, Clone Trooper, Luke, Obi-Wan, Palpatine, Vader, and Grievous. :D

That and I need to get one of those light up Obi-Wan lightsabers...

I might also get Grievous and Aayla Secura as well. I thought the AotC Secura looked terrible, so I never bought it. But she doesn't look so bad this time.

Necromancy ahoy hoy. I finally gave up yesterday and got the clone pilot.

The reason this is relevant to the thread is that there's now a part of my brain saying that, as I've got the pilot, I may as well get the Eta-2 Actis Interceptor to go with him (Clearly those can't all be piloted by Jedi)!

I think I've become addicted. Curse these slick mechensising folks!

I've had serious thoughts about buying a Grievous figure, but I want to wait until after the movie before I make a decision. As it stands, I'm content with getting the Venator model kit, and perhaps some more Titanium Series ships.

Incidentally, in something of a fuckup, the clone pilot has a six-pronged wheel on his arms, indicating that he's acutually an Imperial.

Currently have:

1 Battle Droid
1 Super Battle Droid
1 Quick-Draw Attack Clone Trooper
1 Super-Articulated Clone Trooper
2 Clone Commander
1 AT-TE Tank Driver
3 Target Exclusive Clone Trooper
1 Deluxe Clone Trooper With Backpack Flying Thing (not offical name)
1 Darth Vader

I haven't opened the deluxe, two of the Target Exclusives, or the second Clone Commander, but I will eventually. I'm going to order a couple of the Entertainment Earth packs and get the Republic Gunship. The way I figure it, the AOTC Clones will get the gunship, while my second squad of ROTS Clones take the ground.

I haven't figured out which figures I need to get for this yet, but I also want to make a squad of Clones with my own custom insignia. I'd be kitbashing together Clones for more articulation and different looks to achieve that.

I'm debating whether or not to get the TRU Exclusive Anakin's Jedi Starfighter. Is it very rare? The problem is if I buy it, I risk opening the floodgates and just buying up any figure I want, and not just Clones/Seperatists.

Oh yeah, I'm going to Toys R Us to wait for it to open on the 19th so I can get my hands on new figures. Never done that before.

How's it different from the one I've seen in my local nerdy shop? I'm considering getting Obi-Wan's, on the excuse that 1- Obi Wan is the Mack Daddy of Star Wars, and 2 - It's not cutom painted like Anakin's, and could thus conceivably belong to a clone pilot. Those 100+ Actis Interceptors per Venator aren't all going to be used by jedi after all...

Therefore, Obi-Wan's one qualifies as a clone vehicle. Alas they don't do a V-Wing yet.

The normal one is yellow, this one is grey and green. Also, it comes with an Anakin Skywalker figure, and he appears to be different than the basic figures currently out.

Nope. I've only seen the yellow one. It's probably a good buy, if you keep it boxed. Of course, I've never ever kept a figure boxed. Big kid that I am.

Forgot all about this thread. I got the ARC-170 finally, and I even picked up a Vader and Luke RotJ sabre, which I've always wanted for the collection. Sweet!!!

Pity about Hoth Luke and his little run in with the M-80 practice gernade. We never did find his head... or legs...
That remindfs me of me and my friends. We had all the original kenner toys, but by middleschool we'd destroyed them all. Some were burnt, some crushed in a vice (like my ugnaut), some were chewed by the dog, some run over by cars, and some simply disappeared.

When we were in HS, somebody showed us a printout of what the SW toys were selling for, and we all slapped our foreheads at the same time. :banghead:

DAMN STRAIGHT my man! *gives thumbs up*

If they make ROTS micromachines, I'll buy at least two of every ship. (One for keeps and one for kitbashing.) I love my micromachines! Now if only I could find a TIE Scimitar Bomber for less than $30... or at all.

PS: They also have Aliens, Predator and Babylon 5 micromachines, but good luck finding any of those. *wraps arms protectively around his B5 micromachines*

I still can't find any goddamn Clone Commanders. And why isn't there a Commander Cody toy? They've got Commander Bacara (another toy I can't find).

Fuck, all I want is:

AT-TE Gunner
Clone Commander
Commander Bacara
Clonepilot

That's it. Nothing else. Is that too much to bloody ask?! I can't find any of them. SUCKS.

I have the Obi-Wan Unleashed Ep2 Figure. I'm currently trying to find both the Anakin and Obi-Wan ROTS figures. I would like the Boba Fett Unleashed Figures, but those are damn expensive. :(

But all the Unleashed figures look pretty amazing. If I wanted to get heavy into collecting figures again it would be these bad boys.

When the original trilogy was re-released in theatres I went nuts buying action figures. Got about 45 or so.

With the new movies, I've got only a handful. Mostly of Obi-Wan. lol

Where did you manage to find those for those prices? The only unleasheds I've found around here are the ROTS Obi-wan, Anakin and Greivous and they're all £17ish.

Forbidden Planet Liverpool seems to have over-ordered. 8)

Also try Worlds Apart in Liverpool, who tend to do them at cheap prices sometimes. I should really get the Leia one, but it'd advertise my perverted nature.

Grrr, Liverpools a bit far away, was hoping you may have found them online or something. I can't believe Godforsaken Aberdeen has a Forbidden Planet but the best Reading can muster is Toys R Us and an Entertainer.

I have her, and Padmé. I'll stroke them for you. All I need now is Aayla Secura...
