Same difference. Anyway, Grievous always struck me as the sort who has to mix it up himself. Like Revan said, very poor impulse control.Battlehymn Republic wrote:Correction, the Separatist Council will have Vader on their collective tail, unless Grievous leaves tracks. Everyone still thinks that he's dead in this scenario. I don't think that Palpatine will think that he's the catalyst that brought the Separatist to finally escape from his clutches.

I told you, at this point Grievous either steals control of the droid armies and restarts the war after fleeing Mustafar, or flees the planet with the Council, who are somewhere far from Vader at the moment. If they realize that they will be hunted down, they will do something about it, that is, restart the war to give the Imperials trouble.

Yeah, but I think they might put up a good run. After all, several are plantary leaders, and the executives of galactic-wide corporations. Their first plan should be to pull out all of their resources and wealth.
And Vader's going to be a bit busy. Most of the Separatists will die, yes, but will they all die? Again, I'm trying to see what would happen if the smartest and most fighting-est survive. I guess aiding the "Second Republic" is out of the question, since it'll be several years before the Rebellion starts.
Still, the Empire will have a slightly shaky start if Grievous and the smart military leaders left collect their armies and run to the Outer Rim, to wage a guerilla war. And several of the Separatists will still be at large.
