What exact Imperial units would be present on the battlefield as the Separatist's army's equivalent?

The way I see it is...

Battle Droids: Stormtroopers
Super Battle Droids: DLT-19 Stormtroopers??
Droideka: E-WEB emplacement??
Hailfires: AT-AAs
Homing Spider Droid: AT-AT??
Dwarf Spider Droid: AT-ST or AT-PT??
Geonosian starfighter: TIE or TIE Interceptor??

That's it, I think...so...that pretty much limits what they can do against the Army of the Republic. No bombers, no heavy artillery, nothing of that nature.

The only other "red stormtrooper" I remember is this obscure action figure reference from Shadows of the Empire (but I don't recall it ever appearing in the novel or comic)... Luke in "Imperial Guard Disguise" and it had him wearing a kind of red and black stormtrooper-esque armor without the helmet.

Where is this Episode III Section? I don't want to look at spoilers myself, but the "III" on the main page doesn't link to anything that I can see.

Well, I'm not sure if this is "official" or not, but: http://www.jediknightii.net/files/index ... ile&id=776

I believe the red and black armored one is Carnor Jax. AWESOME model, btw. :D

Listen dudes!!!

I checked it myself and the episode 3 section is currently not available on starwars.com.

However I swear I saw an ORDINARY stormtrooper armor painted RED and BLACK there. The text said it will be the new senate guard.

Not like the Sovereign Protector's armor, it's just like a good old stormie armor...

The stormtroopers in the wierd red armor from Shadows of the Empire are the stormies belonging to the Coruscant Guard.

The only other red stormies were the contingents of stormtroopers aboard the 4(?) SDs placed under the command of one Lady of the Sith Lumiya by Madame Director Isard. It was her personal wish.

What about the normal Stormtrooper armor painted black and the ones that actually had camoflauge on them? Where were they from?

E-Mail someone at starwars.com to get an answer....because I'm too lazy to ( :P ) and because you actually saw it so could describe it better than anyone else. You might get an answer.

Okay.. so it sounds like we're either talking about an EU CHARACTER REFERENCE here.. or else something RUMORED to be Episode III...

NOT something that appeared in Attack of the Clones.. right?
