I'm not going to a midnight showing because the midnight showings here aren't digital projection. I'm going to the 2:00 (PM), the first digital projection showing. I'm off to get in line right now.

I've never seen that (1 Exception, which was Gandalf throwing off the grey cloak in TTT) and am rather eager to experience it.

My original plan was to catch an afternoon show sometime in the middle of next week or the week after to avoid the psycho screaming crowds. Unfortunately my friends want to drag me out to catch the afternoon show tomorrow. I need to find a theatre in boonies that nobody goes to.

I'm going to the midnight showing tonight, just because this is my last chance to see a Star Wars movie on opening night. I was old enough for all the others.

Also, I'm going to a 7:00 showing tomorrow night.

I don't think you have to wait a whole month for it all to die down. I mean, I plan on going to a midday showing within a week of the premiere, and I expect things to be calm by then.

People didn't shut the fuck up until 15 minutes into TPM.

I won't. Have too much work to do. Maybe I'll see it with my wife next week or the following week, once the crowds have died down. I hate crowds about as much as I detest waiting in line.

Just come back from a 00.35 showing in Sheffield. Everyone was well behaved and it was packed. A good experience! :)

You know, it's kind of sad that I can already see what is claimed to be a DVD-rip of Revenge of the Sith available for download.

No, I'm not downloading it.

I think it's safe to say that it's almost impossible for it to actually be a rip of the RotS DVD, since I seriously doubt that they've even started actual production on it.

Ouch, that bites. The first 15-20 mins of TPM was the best part of the film.

Don't worry guys, this is NOT your last chance to see a Star Wars movie on opening night (unless you mean a "brand new" film).

Remember, we've got Star Wars 3-D coming to theaters in 2007. ;)

I'm almost 100% sure it's fake. I've seen people whining "I downloaded it XXXX times and every one I get is fake! WHERE IS IT???" online. I would not be surprised at all if there was somebody's cam recording of it, but nothing more until later in the year.

Still, I wonder how many fanboys WILL download it just so they can have something to "tide them over" until the DVD release in November... heh
