Come to think of it, I have an IQ somewhere between tested maximums and minimums of 154 [<-- Probably a bit lucky score] and 138, so at worst you've got two points on me. Assuming I don't have Aspergers*, that magical intelligence increase doesn't seem that large. Not that IQ is a particularly good measure of intelligence or common sense in the first place, as I prove inadvertantly every day.

And that should be the last mention of IQ, because an intellectual dick-measuring competition is not really useful. Forgive the horrible pun, but it's not the size of the IQ, it's how you use it.

*I fit the symptoms, but I also fit the symptoms of many diseases I most assuredly don't have. Such as mild Agoraphobia.

Dark, still hasn't answered my point, yes, there ARE people who are sucessful with asperger's, but what percentage actully suceed in living a normal life with this handicap?

Its very fine to show that a mental disability can be overcome, so can ADHD, it dosn't mean it should be taken as something to be proud on.

I'm not sure... I doubt the ones who aren't successful flaunt it on the Internet.

I can communicate fine... I can think fine...

Besides, can you 100% confirm that everyone on that list has/had AS?

They were diagnosed by Specialists and they all showed clear signs of Having Asperger's... the only ones who were ever under debate were Isaac Newton and Albert Einstein.

That's not proof. I checked over on the Wiki, and there are several where the possibility is iffy.

Not that it matters, since it's just a damn appeal to authority...

No he did not commit an appeal to authority in that post. I do not quite understand what he hopes to achieve by listing world famous successful people who supposedly had Asperger's, but an appeal to authority it was not.

However the more interesting, not to mention disturbing, question is why did he place Theodore Kaczynski - better know as the Unabomber - in his list of successful people with Asberger's? Ok, Kaczynski does have a Ph.D. in mathematics, but that is not what he is known for.
