I just found the sequel to the really neat lightsaber fan video, Ryan vs Dorkman. Its called (quite creatively) Ryan vs Dorkman 2.
Linky
Its even better than the first one IMO.

I preferred the first one better. At least in this one they didn't resort to holding the lightsaber like you would hold a knife.
If any one is interested, you can also download this from google video.

It seems that Ryan has increased in power, and that he now is the master. It must be the beard. I must say I was impressed with the effects the sabers had on the surrounding environment, though it did dominate at times during the 'wall' section. Also, I was impressed with the slicing of limbs and so on.
I got a kick out of the end too.

Simply awesome. I loved the first, but this was brilliant. The special effects and the choreography... it must have taken forever to make, and a lot of effort. It shows, too. Really enjoyable clip.

I salute them; it's a work well done, and they've put some thought into how the combat would work. I especially liked the part with the saber-pulling, when one guy knocked the other off and caused his saber to pop him in the head.

I still like the first more, but this one is excellent. The FX, the timing, it's great. I wonder how long it took to remove the arm from the last part of the movie, that stuff looked expensive to do. :o

I assumed that the underhanded grip was because someone had watched
Equilibirum too many times and wanted to do something "different" with a light saber.

I liked their use of force-based (and regular) dirty tricks. This is the best quality fan-made lightsaber fighting I've seen.
RE: Limb removal during second movie: I think they just had him manipulating a prosthetic whilst having the erstwhile cut limb inside his clothes. Much less expensive.

I think the whole arm was CG, with the actor in a complete greenscreen environment for that scene.

I agree much cheaper and more realist in this day and age. Too bad that Star Trek Nemesis wasn't anywhere this level in its last scene.
