What's funny is we were debating whether this was really going to be coming out for a long time back when Amazon first carried the titles sans cover picure. Now I'm a bit more convinved.

Let's see, what will be chronicalled?

Tattoine? Or has it been overly covered?

Coruscant? Or will they decide once is enough?

Geonosis and Kamino, certainly.

Anything else?

It'd better have some porn in it.

The Brothels and Titty Bars of Coruscant? Can the good Doctor do this?

That cover picture, tentative though it may be, has two shots of Coruscant on it, and one of Naboo. So yeah, it is going to revisit them, and probably Tatooine, too.

It would be nice if Dr. Saxton can kill off this annoying debate on whether Stormies are clones once and for all , one way or the other. All he needs to do is be definitive about it if there is an overview of Kamino and we can put it behind us.

I'm betting money now that he has argued against the "clones only" idea but that he will not be allowed to comment on it.

None of those have been covered in the kind of scientific way that I expect from Doctor Saxton. I don't even care what it covers; I've already ordered it.

Errr, scientific? Did you see the age demographic? 8 - 12 year olds wasn't it? I think I'll wait till it hits bookstands, so that I can have a gander at it first.

I'm not to worried about a 9-12 reading level. It might not be what we'd really want, probably no scientific notation power levels. But I think he can get a damn lot across. "15 Teraton ground to space turbolaser cannon" would be within that range I expect.

That' why I will wait till it hits the shelves.

Reading level: Ages 9-12

That's a hoot.

Besides, after getting the worlds of Episode I, I knew it was a good book to have. Now that this one is coming out, I will definitely have it.

Well, FINALLY I'll get to know whether Kamino is shrouded in perpetual night. (Storm climate don't necessarily mean darkness)

Regarding reading ages- this is probably some bullfuck Amazon stereotype about SW that they probably also applied to the ICS. I wouldn't worry about it.

Telling us all about Kamino will clear up the clones debate I think. He must follow George Lucas' wishes though- George says they're all clones. If Kamino is anywhere close to an Earth-size planet, if not larger ... he can easily shove the ability to produce billions of clones per batch if he feels like it :)

As you can see- they think the ICS is 9-12 reading age as well. Dumbfucks.

I'm sure with SW they just classify everything as 9-12 reading age.

Eh I've faced the fact that the majority of the OT stormtroopers are probably clones, and basically the stormtrooper corps is a division of clones.

I doubt Kamino is involved in the production of clones in the OT/Empire period.

Not only has the Prequel EU gotten the nod from GL to feature a Seperatist attack on Kamino, but the fact that clones suddenly dried up after Endor and the fact it was really secret suggests Palpatine had his clone production worlds in the Deep Core with his other secrets.

Note that Curtis is the consultant on the book, not the author.

Hmm, you're right, the cover says that. Damn.

It should be good nonetheless...

Local Public Library agrees. The ICSs are all in the Children's section (I used to work there, until this witch of a librarian was hired to be children's librarian).

With Dr Saxton as consultant it should be good. No idioitic Kevin J Anderson mistakes.

I don't think Kamino is bigger than Earth, since the anatomy of the Kaminoans suggests a low gravity and therefore a low planetary mass.

Better than not having him on the book at all.
