What job would you *really* do?
I don't know if anyone has done this idea before, but what job would you have in Star Wars?
I ask that you don't say I would be a Jedi or Sith or, a Galactic Ruler.

Me I would be a communications officer on a Civillian ship. All the monotomy of a warship non of the shooting.

This is an empty country and I am it's king, and I should not be allowed to touch anything.

Is there a place for mathematical or physical research still in the Star Wars universe?
A Government founded upon justice, and recognizing the equal rights of all men; claiming higher authority for existence, or sanction for its laws, that nature, reason, and the regularly ascertained will of the people; steadily refusing to put its sword and purse in the service of any religious creed or family is a standing offense to most of the Governments of the world, and to some narrow and bigoted people among ourselves.

Droid designer. Battledroid/droid fighter/world devestator designer if I got lucky, cleaning droid designer if I didn't. Maybe I'd get stuck in the lower ranks of Cybot Galactic apparently working on minor upgrades to protocol droid software, while in truth secretly plotting to take over the galaxy with my unstoppable army of hidden-blaster-armed mouse droids.

Prospector/Explorer. Exploring the outer rim for mineral deposits or contacting primitive societies for admittance to Empire/Republic.
It might be dangerous but it sure would be exciting.
Otherwise a freelance freighter captain would be good, or even just being employed by one of the mega corporations to transport freight would still be good, probably safer as well.

You are a signaler?Cpl Kendall wrote:I was a soldier in real life, I'll be a soldier in Star Wars life too. They must have some pretty amazing radio equipment in their armies.
I would imagine they use holographic projection equipment, subspace transmitters and what not.

Between the good old DS and the Galaxy Gun, I'd expect most proving grounds to run across systems.Coriolis wrote:I'd be working at the Weapons Proving Ground. I'm surprised no one's chosen that job.

Well, those weapons aren't your run-of-the-mill conventional weapons. I imagine proving grounds would be near asteroid fields for ship weapons.darthbob88 wrote:Between the good old DS and the Galaxy Gun, I'd expect most proving grounds to run across systems.Coriolis wrote:I'd be working at the Weapons Proving Ground. Some are also near Imperial Academies, like the one near Carida that the Otana exited hyperspace right in as well. I'd do my best not to. But, who knows with my inferior human reflexes.phongn wrote:So ... you die on the first race?Cos Dashit wrote:Podracer.
Please forgive any idiotic comments, stupid observations, or dumb questions in above post, for I am but a college student with little real world experience.
