Nicely made, Wayne!

Why is Luke using Kyle Katarn's lightsabre? and is there some sort of inverse square law for force users?

Not bad, although I was expecting him to go something like "Damn, I forget to order something!" before the end.

I never knew the Sith were subject to the Rule of Ninja.

Very fun. Makes me miss that game, to be honest.

Usually, when "someone" walks into a bar, aren't they supposed to do it in threes? :)

Ahem. No AOLspeak, remember?
And is this video horribly dark(to the point where I can hardly make out what is actually happening) for anybody else?

oops, sorry. That's the first thing I thought of was that meme started after Irwin's death. Sorry

It's not horribly dark for me, and that's how this level of Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast normally is. The Nar Shadaa level is normally dark in the game, pissed me off when I was playing it, sometimes would fall into the chasms in the city-world. If you use the electrobinoculars in the game, it's easier to see

AT around 3:14 Luke gets sliced across by a Sith lightsaber and walks unharmed :?

Aside from this little glitch, a very fun video. I like the slow mo at the begining.

Very well done. Hope you make more of those. :D

Not bad, but I think it could use a little work. The slow-mo is too drawn-out in places, and the camera angles aren't always the best.

Nice video, my only criticism is that it's maybe a little too long. Shame the fight couldn't have involved the scenery more (Jackie Chan style), but I guess that's an engine limitation. :)

But could he have done the job just by duct taping a thermal detonator to a mouse droid and telling it to go get him a drink? :)

I agree with the feeling that the video would be better if it was shorter. Around the 2:34 mark is when it goes from the original group of Sith to (seemingly) Sith spawned from nowhere, which breaks the feel of the video to me. I'd be interested to see if the flow is better with a cut from 2:34 to Luke walking out of the bar.

Luke's saber was in the shop.

Take off the sunglasses, Batman.

Looks good. It's hard to get NPCs to act in any form of recordable fashion without it just degenerating into one big cluster-fuck or them just dancing around for 5 minutes. It's been a while, but I assume you just loaded the Luke NPC along with "saberrealisticcombat." How did you set Luke to be immune? I didn't know you could.

Anyways, playing around with NPCs (not to be confused with MP bots) in Jedi Academy was always a blast. We put together a few videos in the past. This is the only one I have off-hand.

It's nice to see someone still using J-O/JA in any capacity.

The NPC Luke isn't immune. I just edit when they cut him to ribbons! It's a combination of NPC Luke and me as "SP Luke", filmed many, many times!

Ah, then even more kudos. I know exactly how it feels to spend time on laying out a perfect array of NPCs for a fight, only to have one NPC or mistimed saber slice fuck everything up. Also, fighting with the camera at an off-angle (especially when it comes around to the front of your PC) for recording is frustratingly hard to get used to.

Me too. Improve the lighting and I'll upgrade my rating from, "Cool," to "Hot, hot, hot!"

And the white-haired guy who Luke kills at the end-- is that supposed to be Dante?
