On this forum somewhere I heard someone say that TIE fighters withstand micrometeor impacts, is this true?

Any help is appreciated.

Hell, you already preempted my original complaint. :P
And yes they do. How is that surprising? ANY spacecraft that ventures out of orbit needs to, eventually, and Wars fighters can get up to considerable fractions of c to boot.

Its not surprising, but I needed confirmation from a credible source.

The movies.

Use logic and learn.

1. Micrometeors exist....since SW has never stated the complete non existence of said things, and the fact they exist in the regular physical universe.

2. The speed of which SW craft move at.

leads to the conclusion that TIE have to have some way to withstand the constant impact.
