Yoda's line is "I'm a playa" and Luke's line is 'There's a city in the clouds where they're holding my crew', not group.

Plus, I have another, slightly more colorful version on my HD.

It's a gangsta thang. I think it refers to knocking somebody out of a combat ring, as in boxing or sumo wrestling or something.
