Are shatterpoints comparable to the lines/points of death in Tsukihime?

I don't know about the lines/point of death in Tsukihime, but shatterpoints are weaknesses in a cristal structure. If they are hit correctly, a distortion will move through the cristal along the cristal lines, and the cristal will shatter (hence the name)

Assuming you mean the Shatterpoint described in the Novel of the same name, they're critical points that will cause something (not just crystals (though that's where the term orginated from)) to "shatter" (for example a shatterpoint of a plan could be that someone did something in/at a certain time or the plan would fail)
