It's Dan Wallace, so I have a very bad feeling about this:

Apart from possible "lol magic shiled keeps us inside the galaxy" nonsense, I'm looking forward to the campaigns section, showing how each conflict went.

I thought the "hyperspace barrier" was debunked in the NJO? Danni Quee gave some sort of lecture on it and how it wasn't a permannt thing or some such. Given all the "extra-galactic" entities which have invaded the galaxy (Remember the Silentium and Abominor?)

Yeah those two machine species managed to get into the GFFA and I assume they didn't use Vector Prime or whatever to do it.

Weren't the Tofs also from outside the galaxy?

No. IIRC, The Essential Chronology established that they hailed from some star cluster (globular cluster?) from within the Unknown Regions.

the Unknown Regions
*cricket chirp*

That basically tells us nothing, since the Unknown Regions are so nebulously defined anyway. :/

Just the cover? Man, what a letdown of a preview...

Looks good so far. I just hope it does not have some of the retarded EU shit in it.

There's also the fact that we see the guys hanging out in the middle of nowhere in ESB. THe galaxy appears to be of a similar size as the milky way appears in the new Halo game (though I'll admit that this is a bit of a stretch to compare). WOuldn't that mean they're about 200,000 light years away? :?:

I believe that 'galaxy' in question was the Rishi Maze or another smaller one.

You must be joking... Dan Wallace's modus operandi is to walk the middle line. Not that I blame him, since office politics seem to extend to just about anything.

Wallace discussed the infantile concept of the hyperspace barrier on the OS a few years ago:

And you can bet your socks that the Unknown Regions will make out a large chunk of the disc:

Of course they have gone worse. The sane people are almost all gone so that means the boot-lickers remain.

The retarded Ewok must have been jerking off in excitement over his imminent victory.

I still don't understand how he ever got into any position of authority. But judging from his conversations with authors, I assume it's due to asskissing.

That and the fact that he has plenty of allies like Ender Sai. I take it that was how that idiot Havac got the post as well.

Fuck em. It still makes no intrinsic sense, is spiritually and analytically in dispute with the filmic canon, and even with the DK publications.

It is kind of hard to have an INTERGALACTIC Banking Clan when you can't leave the galaxy.

Well, there are always the two "dwarf" galaxies seen in AOTC... :?

Which are in orbit around the main galaxy and thus outside the galaxy, meaning they are able to leave the galaxy.

One can always point to the fact that Miss Universe isn't made up of beauties from the universe.

I won't use the IGB as an argument for intergalactic travel.

I'm withholding judgement until I actually see samples from the interior.

ICS mentioned the IGB had space stations outside the galaxy proper.

According to Random House, it's 256 pages.
