Episode 7!

Hey guys. Haven't posted on here in a long time, didn't think my account would still be active, but here I am! Anyways, is it just me or does George Lucas need to stop dealing with the clone wars and get into what happens after the Emperor's fall (Shadows of the Empire not withstanding). Although I guess the EU material detailing this time period is considered canon, I think it would be cool to see an Episode 7 come out in the near future, before all the original actors are to old to be in it. It might seem lame, but come on "Jedi Master Luke Skywalker" sounds too cool to not see. It's not like Mark Hamill won't do it, c'mon he played Cock-knocker! Harrison Ford just did a new Indy movie, so you know he'd do it if they paid him enough money. Anyhow, I guess this thread is about cool stuff YOU would like to see if they made Star Wars Episode 7: The Search for More Money.[/i]

no takers, huh? C'mon peeps! This is the ultimate fanboy topic! We have to assume that one day George Lucas will die and creative license would go to someone who's not all about beating a dead horse. It doesn't have to be lame! OK, let's rephrase, what would make Episode 7 NOT suck?

Lucas said many times that he has NO interest in doing any work on the franchise after Anakins (ie Vaders) death. He'll do prequels (and indeed is doing them) where he can gush over his little Anni some more, but he doesn't give a rats ass for Star Wars once Vader kicks the proverbial bucket. So no, you're not ever likely to see an Episode 7 film, not unless it's made after Lucas is dead. And if someone does make an Episode 7 then it probably wont be accepted in the same line as the other movies (I wouldnt put it past Lucas to say that any future movies are non-canon or only secondary canon if he's not at the helm).

This is all hypothetical, of course

Honestly, I want to see Supershadow's script he claims is a leak he got from Lucas. Yeah. No, seriously.
Think about it. It would be the stupidest, campiest thing there could possibly be.

It's indescribable. I was going to quote some bits, like
During routine Jedi training on Bespin, the Dark Jedi invade wearing jet packs, which send them like a swarm dropping into the upper reaches of the cloud city.
or
Ben sees the tigers and says: "I've got a bad feeling about this."
But really the entire thing is uniformly absurd and awesomely stupid. I'd pay to see it.

Ghetto Edit- I presume this does not violate the Supershadow moritorium mostly because I'm not making fun of him... much... and more expressing admiration for being able to distill exactly what makes a Direct to Video movie into a plot summary.

If you ask me, I would rather not see yet another Lucas movie crashing continuity just to include his latest KEWL STUFF!!!111 Most of the time, the EU makes more sense than he does.
If we must have one, he should base it off Dark Empire.
