Any ideas as to what part Dooku will play in Ep3?
Will he have somethign to do with the almost complete destruction of Anakins body?

I believe that anakin is going to beat him in a second dual and that will complete his journey to the darkside.

Well the novelization said that Kenobi fought with Anakin when tried to get him back from the dark side and Anakin fell into molten metal. He barely survived and became finally something more machine than a man. I don't know whether Lucas plans to use this or creates a new explanation.
Anakin is now no match for Dooku. Dooku may threaten Padmé and coused Anakin to yield to the dark side. I think Dooku should die to force Sidious to search for a new student - Anakin. Maybe on Dagobah. But it is just my fiction.

Prehaps Dooku will go into some form of hypersleep and be saved for the enevenable sequals. Now there's a plot you don't see everyday.

Dooku will play the evil Sith lord ... Christopher Lee.

I think he'll be playing Saruman.
No wait, fuck, that's the other movie...

Do you realize how many fans will be pissed off if it's Dooku who Annakin fights with and gets mortally wounded? Shit, people are getting worked up about expecting old EU ships to be included, and you're talking about the
one clear thing everybody knew about the prequels for the last 20 years.

He'll be Vampire Count Saruman von Dooku.
Atleast, thats going to be his character in A Crossover Too Far.

will anakin fight dooku before or after he chooses a new suit?

Come on, there has to be a Dooku-Anakin rematch. So much in the prequels is paralleling the OT. In TESB, Luke gets his hand cut off and turn around and cuts of Vader's hand in ROTJ but does NOT kill him.
Anakin gets his arm cut off by Dooku in AOTC and returns the favor in Ep3 and then proceeds to kill Dooku (most likely at the prompting of Palpatine) thus giving himself completely to the dark side.
Bet on it.

Anakin will kill Dooku, thus falling to the dark side. Obi-wan will then confront him, and they will have the long-awaited lava pit match.

He's already Darth Vader by the time he gets the suit (hell, he was already Vader when he crawled out of the molten pit), so it would have to be before the fight with Obi Wan.

I'm guessing Anakin would kill Dooku, and it could be done dramitacally before or after Anakin becomes Darth Vader, but I'm guessing he'd kill him in a duel before falling in the pit, and it would act as a step toward the Dark Side.

Gl has made it very clear in his commentaries that he wants the Prequels to mirror the OT. He is into circular themes. Anakin will fight Dooku mid way through the movie, enraged by Dooku claiming that he either slew Padme (false) or that he arranged for Anakin's mom's death. Something that will make Anakin SNAP. He will go apeshit on Dooku as Luke did on Vader and he will defeat Dooku. Standing over Dooku Palapatine will urge him on "Your hate has made you powerful."
Anakin, who has been seeking power since Ep I now has absolue proof that the Darkside is stronger...Dooku handed him and Obi Wan their asses in Ep II and fought Yoda to a standstill. But he has BEATEN Dooku, thanks to his rage. He will look at his arm, and instaed of seeing the warnning that Luke saw he will merely be reminded at what Dooku did to him and he will strike him down.
THEN when it is revealed that he is a Sith, Obi will defy the council and confront him to bring him back to the light side...there will be the most ass kicking duel in ALL the movies (gauranteed Ewen and Hadon have already started physically training for it according to a recent interview and Ewen says he's learning moves he's never seen before in a SW movie.)
BTW if anyone is interested in how all of this will play out, my current new fanfic The Twilight War will be dealing with this very question.
Hmmmm...did I just give away vital plot points.....

Could we see a return to Geonosis? I mean, the factory would provide the perfect setting for a battle, and the big vats of molten metal for Anakin to fall into.
Although, I would hate to see that happen, that would be dancing on the edge of corniness.

I believe I heard that they're scouting volcano locations, so we probably won't return to Geonosis. I would prefer not to see Geonosis again. It was a part of the SW universe that was good to see ... once.

I was hoping the 'lava planet' would be some post-BDZ location.

I bet this will be a long movie too. Cuz they do have to fit the Anakin [vs] Dooku scene in, the Obi-Wan [vs] Anakin scene, and then show the ever developing tale of the Old Republic becoming the Galactic Empire. They have a lot of things to put into one movie to give a slight connection to ep 3 and 4. cuz if they make ep 4 be like 10+ years after ep3, I'll be dissapointed. But... hey, AoTC allready has destroyed what hope I had left of one of the prequels being a good movie. *and pops in some OT* and Servo, I did watch ESB again and I took a close look at the tower hit by the asteroid. Sure looks destroyed to me, even freezed it where you can see past the debris left over from the hit... I could see the executor instead of a tower. You said you had seen clips where the tower was in fact not destroyed? I'd like to see them, see if I'm missing something.

Lets hope it happens in the early or midway part of the film so we can see more of Vader and the Purge.

If this turns out to be true, (or partially true) I will proclaim Lucas the new Jebus.

Of course before!!!
Think about it...
Now Dooku is the sith apprentice and there's always one apprentice.
Probably Anakin will let his anger free which will help him to defeat Dooku so he'll turn to the dark side.
...and I'd bet on it that Mace will be fried by Palpy in a very-very dramatic action scene!!! ("...so be it, Jedi!")

I don't care what happens. I don't care if Anakin slips on a banana peel and falls into a vat of silly putty. I don't care if Lucas gives himself a cameo appearance of a crazy old todger dancing across the screen wearing a suit of thousand-dollar bills. I don't care if Ewan McGregor is drunk throughout the whole thing. I don't care if Jar Jar Binks engages in hot Gungan porn with a Jawa. I don't care if Boba Fett has a song and dance number to If I Were A Rich Man.
This is all I want in Episode 3.
It's the end of the movie. Anakin's been mortally wounded. He's turned to the Dark Side. He's been rescued by Palpatine/Sidious's forces. He's been treated for his wounds, his damaged lungs/organs/whatever replaced with synthetics. He's revived by the doctors, who inform him of his predicament. They hand him his Vader mask. We see a dark-gloved hand take it. Then, in pure, pitch darkness, we hear the mask snap into place.
A moment later, we hear, for the first time, Darth Vader drawing his first breath.
Roll credits. No fanfare. No music. Just Vader's breathing.

Note: If Lucas can deliver a feeling even remotely similar to the scene as described above, I will declare the prequel project to be a raging success.
