Just a question on a thing I recently discovered: what the hell is known about these guys?

At least one of their number ended up on a backwater blue and green planet where he befriended a young boy and demonstrated potentially Force-related abilities.

They also like plants, dressing up like ghosts and riding in the front-basket of bicycles.

They can also levitate said boy and bycicle.

Oh yeah, they are also dudes who fund extra-galactic surveys.

Does this planet have any use to us? Can we sterilize it and build a mini-mall there?

I do so love that little Easter Egg, it shows that Star Wars ships can move between galaxies. At the very latest by 1985 (or when ever ET came out), and Star Trek Tech is still 300 years away.
