vader fires at luke a little earlier, and luke fires at ds a little later. ds is gone, so is luke.
in esb, leia joins vader.
what follows?

The DS2 is completed, because they have Leia and don't have to use the station as bait, to destroy the Rebels.

I think Luke dies on Hoth, and Leia takes over his place. However, she does not turn to the dark side.

There's a pretty stupid Infinities plot. Han doesn't have any Force sensitivity.

I believe it was decided that Han was force-sensitive or a "passive" force user.

Nope...the Infinites storylines are:
1. Luke fire but his PTs are dud and the DS doesn't explode but doesn't fire immediately upon Yavin. Vader and gang capute Leia, make her into a semi Luke...they rule galaxy. They lose because of DS plowing into Coruscant.
2. Han is ten minutes too late, Luke freezes to death, but passes on message. Most of series Han believes he's the new Jedi to be...turns out *gasp* it's Leia. In the End Vader loses because he is blindsided in a duel that rates up there with crap.
Supposedly they are going to do a third, but what...Han falls into Sarlacc pit?
