The new RPG from Sony. And what side are you going to be on? I'm Imperial all the way baby!

I'm not getting it untill the expansion is out. Vehcle combat, starship travel, player-run cities all the way, and a decent amount of playable aliens is a must in my book.

The Dark Guard is awaiting some what patiently. Imperial is our stance, as always. Hopefully in years time the space expansion will come out. I'm getting my hopes up, but they some how better find a way for the Imperial badass officers can captain ISDs. hell yeah.

I have no plans of picking a side just yet.

I thought we already did, what with 'The Cleaners' and all? I'm definitely joining that, even it if means my Wookie tech/commando has to betray his species.

I hope our players can wear Imperial uniforms and command troops. I WOULD LOVE AND WORSHIP THIS GAME IF I COULD!!

Will there be a way for people to join as a clan type situation? It would rule if we could have an SD.Net clan of players working together on this game.

Come to think of it, according to FAQs I've read, not only are uniforms one of the items you receive when you join a faction, but you are also able to find/wear stormtrooper armor and to work for the Empire (though being an officail Stormtrooper as a profession isn't available. You can still play the role, it seems they're implying). We are talking major shw33tness here.

If your a high enough Imperial officer, you can 'check' out stormtroopers and it's been mentioned Imperial Walkers as well.

Id love to rule a city in the name oif the Emperor.

Exactly.. new rule in my city! The official female costume is the Leia Slave Outfit suit! I shall enforce that rule with an iron fist!

I'm afraid of playing an MMORPG and getting addicted, so I'll likely have to abstain. I'm a single-player man, which is why I hope Knights of the Old Republic does not disappoint.

Right. I already have to sacrifice so much of my time, grades, and social life on the Great Sacrificial Altar of Video Games that an MMORPG would only worsen the problem.

I think, given my tendancy to favour the underdog, Rebels here I come.

Hmmm, I've been waiting for this game for some time. It is the only online game I intend to purchase. My goal is to gain a commission in the Imperial officer corps, focusing on command, hopefully culminating in the command of an ISD (although I'd not complain too loudly if placed in command of an SSD)...

That would be awesome for a future expansion pack! If you could enter the internal structure of select capital ships. Such as, if you're a rebel you can be assigned to a Frigat or Mon Cal with all the other rebels, and if you're an imperial you can walk the decks of a Star Destroyer.

Just constrain entire servers to a space battle between one capital ship per side and their fighters. And I don't think the space would be any different than hosting a world on a server.. I mean, most rooms in a SD could be the same, bunking, housing, armories, storage..

Don't play too many video games anymore. I could never make my self stop and wasted too much time. Besides, I've never owned any platform other than my PC, so unless its going on multiple platforms, count me out.

It's for PC, but they haven't ruled out eventually making versions for online-capable console systems.

I believe Sony still wants it for the PS2 budding online service(given that there's pretty much only SOCOM that has generated any real popularity of Online only...with EQ and FFXI getting only moderate reviews and sales)
