Imperial Army Of Battle

Post by Executor »

I Am currentley making an Imperial Order of Battle, it differs then the one in the Imperial Sourcebook since Im trying to make it totally complete and more realistically sized, as we know that WEG figures seemed to have downsized the scope of the Star Wars Galaxy.
I have all the basic formations done how I want them, the numbers of Infantry, Armoured companies in Battalions etc..etc, but i am now stuck on support units, on comparing the support units given in the ISB and the order of battle in a pocket guide to the British Army, the ISB ones seem to be a bit basic, even the guide book mentioned only gives basic support units. Has anyone here got any links to sites that have full details of Army order of battles, including all types of support ie admin, food, personnel services etc that may help me, or can anyone help (if there from the military/or know of such things) of what support services I should include.

Thanks in advance.

Is there a similar document somewhere for the Imperial Navy?

Very well done, I did that myself back in 92 when i first got the Imperial Sourcebook, and i know what a pain it is doing it. Its not quite what im after. I have the basics for the OB, of my own design, its expanded from the ISB one, but I want to add in the support services for Admin, training, food etc, and need some sources to get an idea of the kind of units that would be assigned to formations.

Jason L. Miles was working on one. Dunno if he finished it. There's a rough version on Sheppard's page, http://mywebpages.comcast.net/rcrierie/ ... orGrpS.txt

Ah, my mistake. Well, part of the admin is in there (everything under officers with "staff" in front of it) if that helps.
