I decided to set this up since, while I do prefer the Force, and the Jedi Order, I do have interests in the SIth. besides, in order to understand everything, and be truly great, one must be in the dark for a while.

My personal favourtie is Count Dooku. Dracula, or Saruman, in a jedi, body, old, but with a lot of Force, and a lightsabre that looks deceptively like a petrol pump....bring on ! Also, Darth Tyrannus is like the Obi-Wan Kenobi of the SIth.

But, of course, i think I'm the only one who likes Dooku, so, what are your faves ?

Palpy because he actually beat the Jedi.

I voted for Darth Maul, mostly because of the Sith that has appeared in the movies, he is the one with the best moves (even if he was killed in a pretty copped-out fashion). Though if we are talking about the "Best Sith Warrior Ever" in a more general sense, I would say that it would be between Darth Vader & Exar Kun (mostly because I don't know about Exar Kun all that well).

At the height of thier Power they sent over 7k! Knights and Masters after him along with Battleships did a Full Orbital Bombardment of the Entire Area and that Guy STILL Managed to survive(The Battleships where a sneak attack BTW, His Second in command Betrayed him and was cut off from the Force by Kum in response)

Lets not forget the Making Stars Go Nova to kill the fleet chasing him

Exar Kun and Darth Bane were 2 seperate people.

Took on 28 Vong, a Voxyn, Luke, Mara, and Tahari at once... And WON. He only died because he got distracted and Tahari ws able to use Vong weaponry that he couldn't sense to kill him.

That's why I said Darth Bane (Exar Kum) was the best. I may have confused them, and they may be 2 diff. siths but, you have to admit: these were the greatest pioneers, and the most powerful of siths. Of course, I never saw them in actual action (I don't always trust the expanded universe), and, for somereason, i prefered Dooku. To each his own I guess.

First off, Exar Kun will never come close to being a 'great' Sith Lord. He was created by KJA because he couldn't think of any thing else to do but copy the Thrawn trilogy. Darth Bane merely made the no more than two rule and hid away. Palpatine masterminded the whole destruction and taking over of the Galaxy, he's pretty close. I would really have to go with Vader. He got right up close and personally hunted down the Jedi.

I have to agree with Ender and say Lord Nyax, even if he wasn't a true Dark Lord of the Sith, he still did almost took down Luke, Mara, Tahiri, a group of Vong, and a voxyn. That's impressive.

So you like Darth Tyrannus the best yet leave him off your poll? hmmmmm.......

Kun's probably the toughest, most bad ass Sith ever. Defied thenite Jedi order, challenged the Old Republic bck in it's ass kicking days and l managed to get away with. The bastard was still alive (sort of) milleniums later. That's tough.

Apolgies. Must have misread the Jedi Archives.

Palpatine as to be the greatest Sith. What other Sith do you know of that manipulated the minds of thousands of senators to do his bidding? orderd the mass killing of the Jedi? The only person that comes close is Exar Kun and he only minipulated the minds of a single species.

Palpatine ruled a galaxy with an iron fist...um uh a fist full of the powers of the Dark Side. Not to mention his greates line. "Strike me down with all of your hatred, and your journey toward the dark side will be complete"

Sith WARRIOR: MAUL (Although Kun's dual lightsaber style comes close, MAUL kicks ass all over the block and then some)

Sith LORD: Palpy (He singlehandedly masked his presence from the ENTIRE Jedi council and turned the most powerful Force-user in existence)

Vader was clearly the most powerful Sith at fighting, although he lacked other powers that Palpatine possessed.

I am reserving judgement until we see Ani in action, mind you Darth Maul is a pretty hard act to beat.

Could everyone please remember that we are meant to pick the best Sith warrior not tactitian or planner.
