Star Wars Scaling (again)

I found this thread over at OT.com (not advertising, mind you) and wondered if
anyone here wanted to contribute their wisdom to it:

When it comes down to it, the scales of vehicles are really inconsistent between movies, even between shots.

Part of the mistakes are confusing the three ESB/ROTJ command bridges, though. The one from the MF flyby in ROTJ is different from the Executor and ISD-II ones from those films. It's more likely the film crew made a separate detailed bridge for another ship than the Executor (which already has one for the shuttle flyby scene).

There's more finger pointing going on than there ever has been here or Spacebattles...

The alarm bells ring when it's (to paraphrase) "we can't use the numbers in the Technical Commentaries because we simply just don't trust the tf.n types"...

Yeah, but those tf.n types really can't be trusted... ;)
