Why the heck is the minefield behind the electric fence and watch towers? Those defenses work only for security purposes, while the mines are capable of holding off heavy attacks from armored vehicles.

I was always wondering what one of those bases looked like. Now, I want to know how it's stored and deployed.

Maybe it's secret and kept so that once the enemy breaches the perimeter, they let their guard down and get blown up out of nowhere.

Or maybe it's just more Imperial tactical stupidity.
