I think it's pretty well-known that Palpatine is the Emperor's last name.... but is there any sources which state his first name??

I vaguely recall reading his first name being Ethel, but that's almost too ridiculous.

And while we are at it, do anyone have a clue what Admiral Daala's first name is, too??

Actually, I was just thinking of Donald Duck's middle name, and I thought "Fauntleroy Palpatine" sounded pretty good.

Palpatine's name is Bob.

I was thinking perhaps it was Richard Milhouse Nixon Palpatine.

How about "Emperor" or "His Imperial Majesty" ? Perhaps his parents named him like that, and he got teased in school because of it, and due to his unnoticed force tallent, began to shift to the dark side? Just a thought.
