Yeah, yeah, I finally got around to buying the DVD and just got done watching it. It was great, I can now understand though, what people meant about Hadenson's dialogues. One of the best scenes was when those Tuskens got slaughtered wholesale by Vader. I consider that the first time Vader made his appearance, it definatly wasn't Anakin that was killing the Tuskens.
The big Geonosis battle was pretty wicked, lots of stuff blowing up.
The thing that actually made my eyes widen was when that one alien showed a holo image of the DeathStar.
To think, the plans for the prototype existed that long ago. Seeing Yoda move around like that, I think he should be nicknamed Sparky or something.

Ahh, You didn't go watch it at the theater? Part of the enjoyment is standing in line for several hours to get tickets. I did it and thought the movie Kicked ass!
The IMAX was a breath taker as well. The HUGE screen the explosions, my god!

Because it wasn't showing at any theaters and I saw the DVD at a store. It was either that, or another Sims game.

Virginia. Besides, I got it at like 6am, I doubt my parents were going to drive me to the theater just to watch a movie that they could buy.

We got AOTC too, but I doubt the local theater is still showing a movie that's almost a year old.

I guess the question in all our mind is that... Why didn't you go see it when it came out? ...unless your theatre didn't show it when it came out..........

Because it would've cost like 20 bucks to see it and I didn't have any money at that time. What's the big deal anyways? I didn't make this thread just so everyone could pester me about why I didn't see the movie in the theaters.

Why on Earth would you wait thta long in line? Am I the only person on thsi planet that
reservestickets? For both TPM and AOTC, two weeks before release, we walked up, asked for advance tickets. That easy. Saw both on the day of release. Maybe I just live in a less crowded area?

I am all about reserving tickets DGG man I usually use Fandango, that way I don't have to make any extra trips to the theatre

Yes you live in a less crowded area and your theatre probably works in a different way.
I reserved my tickets and I got them...but in order to get in...we had to get to the BACK of the line and wait.....

Twenty dollars?!? Do you really live
that far from the nearest movie theater?
I ask this because I paid about $6.75 for an
evening showing of AOTC... matinee prices around here are about $4.50.

6 bucks for one ticket (probably higher now) and about 14 bucks for popcorn, soda and twizzlers (which I must have).

Karmike Cinema in my (one horse town)area won't sell advanced tickets for midnight showing's, they for some unknown reason don't do it here or I would have believe me. I still feel however waiting is half the fun though.

Actually, I found bribing the ticket girl at Karmike for the last three tickets a bit more fun.
*waves hand*
you will give me the tickets
i will give you the tickets
Okay, it wasn't that easy.
