The "twist" in ep. III
I am sure many of you have heard about Lucas's "twist" he has in store for us in part 3. I hope it is not something obvious, like Palpatine being Sidious (EVERYONE knows that). It better not be lame either, like Palpatine not being Sidious, or Palpatine being Anakin's father. What do you guys think?

I'm afraid it might be that Sidious is the same person as Palpatine, although everyone knows that.
It could also be that Anakin might be the clone of an ancient Sith Lord.

That'd still be a 15 year old punk killing a ~40-50 year old Jedi Master.
Stop thinking with your penis for a minute and you'll see how rediculous and pathetic it is.

Mace is supposed to be the second-best Jedi in the Order. I doubt he would be taken out by a punk kid and have that be as bad-ass as the way Sam Jackson wants the character to go out.Axis Kast wrote:Jedi are hardly all-powerful. If Boba did win, it would still be a lucky and crappy way.
We want a battle of skills.

Sam L Jackson made it clear that he wouldn't go out like a punk. A Jedi Master getting killed by a 15 year old kid is the very defintion of going out like a punk. It's not going to happen.Axis Kast wrote:

Lucky and crappy makes for a poor scene. His rep should not begin as a 13 year old getting lucky..and for his track record, having such a beginning makes him seem that all he's been with a couple exceptions.

I’d much better love a scene in which Boba Fett somehow kills Mace during a moment of weakness than a lightsaber battle. I find such affairs boring. The duel between Yoda and Dooku was the worst part of Episode II outside the love story. Although Darth Maul was cool, his death was certainly eclipsed by the Battle of Naboo.
The best option would be for Mace to die while fighting. Boba shoots an area-effect weapon or something that Mace can’t quite react to in time. Perhaps another Jedi – Dooku or Anakin himself – might interfere to ensure the kill?

Yeah, wouldn't want to have one of the most popular characters ever be in a movie. Heaven forbid.Spanky The Dolphin wrote:No!! No Thrawn in Episode III!!!!
Well, Boba could just drop a seismic charge in his general vicinity. He can pilot Slave I and work its weapon systems.Vympel wrote:Sam L Jackson made it clear that he wouldn't go out like a punk. The other (more far-fetched) possibility is that Boba goes back to Kamino and demands that the cloners accelerate his growth so he isn't a punk kid.
