It was supposed to be on preorder form amazon. but they havent notified me. crap, means ill have to wait until next paycheck. EPIs planet guide was great. It contradicts itself on the opening page though. Shows a map of the Galaxy, which measures 120,000 ly but the dialogue says it's only 100,000

Its 120 in almost all sources.

I posted a link to a TF.net discussion on it, and a few facts about the Geonosis order of battle.

I just checked one of my local Barnes & Nobles, and they didn't have it. Amazon says it'll ship within 12-14 days or something like that, but bn.com says it ships within 24h. Usually I prefer Amazon, but I just ordered it from bn.com right now.

Maybe it's just rounding downwards?

20000 ly seems like a pretty non-significant amount to round away when talking about the diameter of the galaxy.

I plan to order it at the end of the month. Amazon lists it as a special order, so it may take a while.

My order was placed on the 14th, should arrive tomorrow (UPS next business day shipping). Like I said, usually I prefer Amazon, but BN has this one, hands down. Everybody go get it!

I'll get it as soon as I can check the Cedar Rapids Barns & Noble (I haven't been there in a while, anyway). That is if it's there.

That's obviously a good idea, because you avoid the god damned shipping charges. But I checked both Barnes & Nobles that are close to my house, and neither one had it. Didn't check any of the others in the area, though. Those bastards seem to not stalk Star Wars books very well (I had the same problem with the EII ICS; it wasn't there for a week or so).

It came, it came! I'll post my observations in IP's thread when I'm finished reading it.
