I was reading through the "From SW to IJ, the best of the LucasFilm Archives, and I came upon these intriguing/humorous discoveries.

Are you sure it's ONLY that long???
According to the book, the Millenium Falcon's model - supposedly full-size, used in the Hoth hangar, is only 60ft long. Would this be considered canon? I ask for this reason:

I did some rough scaling on the matter, from the scene where the MF is attached to the ISDs bridge; it turns out that if we use that measuring across the hull of the ISD, the MF can be only multipied roughly ten times. IE- The ISD would be roughly 600ft in length. SIX HUNDRED FEET??? That is NOT 1600 meters. Is there anyway that can be reconciled?

And this guy is only this long...
The X-Wings wing-span is 40ft, based on the model made for the Dagobah crash.

Well at least this one seems ok...
The Executor was conceptialized to be 11 times longer than the ISD....1600m? Or 600ft?

Rommel's Legacy
The treads used on the Jawa Sandcrawler came from German Panzer tanks.

Norwegian's Attack Hoth
The Imperial attack force on Hoth was originally going to be Norwegian tanks. THAT would've been interesting.

Neuclear?
In the story boards for TESB, Cloud City's reactor shaft was supposed to be a neuclear shaft. Good spelling there, GL.

EDIT: Bah, ran outta room for the title.

As far as the Falcon's length goes, Bob Brown has covered it pretty extensively. Check out the Millennium Falcon pages.

FYI: Lucas was known for having pretty bad spelling.

Poor guy...

I hope Varg Vikernes isn't going to be part of the assault....

We'll have to dig up the reference to the ISD being a mile long. I'm sure there's something canon about it.

However...

Give me fuel, give me fire, give me that which I desire!!!

The 'full-scale' model used in the films is not full size. The best way of proving this is the diameter of the cockpit, which is only about 7' (+/- 1'). It would be impossible to fit the full-size cockpit set into a tube with that diameter.
