This ammuses me to no end

*rolls eyes*

The TLs being light speed comes from the Death Star Beam being Light Speed, and TLs being variations on this.

The AT-AT guns are calculated from the movie, and they are still bitching about them

I think this one is the best
If KT strength weapons can damage a ship, then a multi GT TL shot should be completely eliminating ships with a single shot once the shields fail.
That's exactly what we fucking see happen in ROTJ!

Jesus, Crossover Maniac is getting dumber by the minute. He is now claiming that the asteroids in ESB were flak bursts.

But that was a superlaser?? (dont know what's been decided on similarities between turbolaser and superlasers, so bare with me)

The Superlaser is basically just a giant continuous turbolaser.

That makes absolutely no sense. The asteroids were flakbursts? No, the asteroids were asteroids.

As for the superlaser question: The DS's superlaser is basically eight TL bolts merged together into a continuous beam. Supposedly this is done by passing the TLs through some sort of amplification crystal thingy. Of course, the planet-killing aspect is supplied by the hypermatter reactor.

... No. The scene I'm referring to is when a HTL from a mon cal takes out an ISd that had lost it's shields in a single shot. It's right about the "concentrate all fire on that super star destroyer" bit, and happens in the background behind Akbar's head.

Pulses of Turbolaser like energy... ok. Both TLs and Superlasers have varying intensities in their salvos.

However, I have never seen a TL's "bounce" off of another TL like the parts of the Superlaser do -- which suggests to me, perhaps a different containment field or weapon all together that uses similar fuel or firing mechanisms.

As seen below, TL's seem to damage the target before the visible bolt hits.

Superlasers, as seen in ANH when Alderaan was destroyed, enveloped the planet for a much longer period and dealing the visible destructive damage seconds post hit -- as opposed to miliseconds pre-hit like TL's.

This is due to shield-collapse.

They just finished reading chapter one of "Suing Your Workplace in 3 E-Z Steps": "On-the-Job Accidents for Dummies"
