The latest version of Umbrella's zombie making virus has spread in the "poor" areas of Coruscant. Finally noticing something amiss, the New Republic has sent two special investigation teams down to Coruscan't underlevels to do some preliminary reconnaissance.

So what happens?

First, are the zombies the same as in RE, or have they been modified? Second, E-WEB.

Yeah, same as in RE, and as well as some boss variants, which of course conforms to Coruscant environment (like zombie hawkbats, giant ferrocrete slugs, etc).

Each building is completly Hermeticly Sealed from each other building, Second the *poor section of Courscant is orbit as even an underground Six bed-room house according to Lando would get you sixty bed-room house with a goodly amount of land to :P, So I'm guessing the poor-section is Invisa-sec in the old Alien Zone under the Imps meaning most of the people who not imdeatly zombifed are immune but then the T-Virus works aginst everything from Humans to Dogs yes?

Oh and another thing don't forget Imp Flying Fortesses(AT-AT Body on repulsorlifts) are supposed to mount shielding and quite a bit of it along with repeating blasters and two concusion missle tubes

I doubt it'd be a problem. The T-Virus doesn't last to long in an airborne form so it won't spread fast beyond it's initial infection. The low population of the under sections would mean the virus wouldn't have to many residents. The T-virus would also appear that it only for a few months; in The Umbrella Conspiracy, people were mauled and killed by three month old zombies and other monsters and not ressurected or inffected. The biggest worry is fluid contact with the zombies or other monsters in . With a little caution and proper equipment there wouldn't a problem.

The New Republic would at least have the sense to go in with NBC armor. Considering it's standard issue gear for the stormtroopers and clonetroopers, I don't think it's to hard to find the equivalent. Give the troopers some blaster rifles, flame rifles (burn the corspes to sterilize the area), and some thermal detonators for the big boys. Sweep regularly and keep a tight quarentine and the infection will burn itself out eventually.

I don't think they would do any thing since it took them a year to respond to the Vong invasion. They probably would just sit around and debat what to do.

With medicines, and powerful weapons, the zombies are toast.

Cannon, they've already delt with a similar situation(well the clean-up part, The Kytos Virus was just as nasty minus the zombie part)

That was during the more militaristic era of the NR. Back when the Empire was still a threat, and the NR was in its infancy. The NJO NR is the castrated version.
