And he's speculating that the Teezel from the old Marvel comics was actually a listening post or relay for the YV(!)
Get your fill of sci-fi, science, and mockery of stupid ideas

Made note of a quote about the stellar and volumetric scope of the "Unknown Regions" in Force Heretic: Refugee, kindly forwarded by J.Vermazen, in the Galaxy commentary.

I can't find anything saying that.phongn wrote:And he's speculating that the Teezel from the old Marvel comics was actually a listening post or relay for the YV(!)
Shameless plug mode ON!Relativistic velocities are attainable using ion-drive propulsion, as demonstrated by starfighters in some of the New Jedi Order novels, and as implied by the acceleration and power statistics of many starships [eg. quantified in AOTC:ICS].

It's really fun I bet. It's kind of like saying something is true because I said so.phongn wrote:Ender wrote:Shameless plug mode ON!Relativistic velocities are attainable using ion-drive propulsion, as demonstrated by starfighters in some of the New Jedi Order novels, and as implied by the acceleration and power statistics of many starships [eg. quantified in AOTC:ICS].
It may be a plug, but since his website isn't by itself official or canon, he has to reference something, even if it is his own book.
I noticed that those two pages he put up are written in a different style than his normal; I thought that rather odd.Alan Bolte wrote:I especially liked "Perhaps the animal had an annoying habit of wandering onto HoloNet channels and screaming, making it a nuisance like cattle wandering across the road or birds chewing on telephone cables?"
It doesn't mesh well with the rest of the website, and I prefered the less personal tone with it. Maybe he's planning something we don't know?Illuminatus Primus wrote:I liked them--perhaps he's trying something new with his site.
Surely you can't be serious.Darth Wong wrote:He's capable of "letting his hair down" a bit, although it doesn't happen too often. He and I rank rather far apart on the formality scale
Sometimes talking to Curtis is like talking to a Vulcan. But then he hits you with an unexpected zinger that just floors you! Very cool guy.Publius wrote:Surely you can't be serious.Darth Wong wrote:He's capable of "letting his hair down" a bit, although it doesn't happen too often. Just a question: What does a Teezl look like? Does it appear to be straight out of a H.P. Lovecraft novella, or does it look like some generic, bland creature??phongn wrote:And he's speculating that the Teezel from the old Marvel comics was actually a listening post or relay for the YV(!)
I think almost everyone does. Especially you and Wayne.Darth Wong wrote:He's capable of "letting his hair down" a bit, although it doesn't happen too often. He and I rank rather far apart on the formality scale
Bah. I have numerous mentions on his site, *and* I have my name in the AOTC ICS (along with Mike, Wayne, and Brian...)Illuminatus Primus wrote:Dr. Curtis Saxton, The Galaxy, SWTC wrote:Acknowledgements
