Forum veterans might remember my query about Admiral Daala's age which was unanswered IIRC. Well, I've found out now that Daala was 37 in Jedi Search, which means she can't have been older than 26 when she was promoted to Admiral.

Then, in the thread about whether Ysanne Isard was hot, it was mentioned that Isard was somewhat older than Daala.

So I ask you - how old is Isard? In most renditions of her, she appears to be in her thirties. (The X-Wing Trilogy is 6-7 years after ANH, which means that she's at least 33 years old in "Rogue Squadron")

Is it ever informed exactly how old she is??

Here's a passage from Rogue Squadron:

Though he would have put her age at a dozen years older than his own, he found her attractive. Tall and slender, she wore her black hair long, and the white streaks descending from her temples made her seem more exotic than middle-aged.

This is from Kirtan Loor's point of view. My guess is that she's well into her 30s by this point, possibly upper 30s, since Isard's Revenge describes her har as nearly all white and that she's gained some weight, which might mean that she's moving into her 40s or 50s. (assuming people in SW age at the same rate we do)

Hmmm, I do recall that Truce at Bakura places old age at 120 and middle age starts around 50 based on that. But she's led a pretty active life, so she'd probably age faster.

Its in a short story in Tales from the Republic

I just checked the new Character Guide and neither Daala nor Isard have an age listed. Actually, no one really does.

There are times that I hate the art in the New Guide, and Isard's pics are one of them. She's supposed to be ATTRACTIVE for fuck's sake. They make her look fucking deformed.

Maybe that's Isard as an old woman. Age isn't equally kind to all...

She mut be in her late 30s or even early 40s when she was "killed" at Thyferra.
