Casting Call: Ysanne Isard (nominations)

Well, I discovered the
Casting Call section of TheForce.Net and just then wanted to make a poll about who should play Isard.
This is just the nominations - the actual poll is coming when I've collected enough suggestions from you.
I nominate Eileen Daly, who played Lilith Silver in
Razor Blade Smile.
Your ideas??
EDIT: Do not nominate any porn stars. Most of them can't act their way out of a paper bag.

I suppose Angelina Jolie has the predatory looks, though I hate her acting.

Angelina Jolie is too young unless it is early/pre-OT Isard.

If you're looking for someone older, I suppose Eleanor Bron could do it. She's the Head Mistress from "A Little Princess." She fits the bill of a cold, caculating type.
I'd say if you're going younger, aim for somebody attractive. I'd like to see Nicole Kidman or that mother from Gilmore Girls do it, but neither one has the "evil" screen presence required.

I'd rather see more stuff about young Isard than post-Endor Isard anyway.

Glenn Close could do it. Or that girl who is the new villian in the Charlie's Angels trailer

Julia Roberts could be bitchy enough for the part. Also, Scoruney Weaver could pull it off well.

It's have to be someone cold looking yet still attactive. The one thing Loor did say in the book that sticks in my mind was that she was attractive but the coldness in her made her more scary than atractive. I'd say Weaver would be the actress to pull it off.

Demi Moore.

What part of "no porn actresses" did you not understand?
As for my nomination, Angela Huston.

Rene Russo, if they dyed her hair.

Sigourney Weaver would pull it off nicely. Nicole Kidman could be Daala.

Too old. You might have just said Susan Surandon

Demi Moore's an established "legitimate" A-list actress IIRC.

Kim Basinger? Maybe she's too old now, but she wouldn't be a bad choice.

I was watching a few movies last night and one that struck me if she was younger is Senator Da Haven from GI. Jane. The only problem with her is her age and accent. She has the hair and demeanor for it naturally.

Take particular note of the smiley at the end. See how it's smiling? That means it wasn't a serious comment.
Further in re: Demi Moore. Having suffered through previews of the Next
Angels movie, Ms. Moore isn't a bad choice.

How about Carrie Anne Moss?

I thought Ysard was supposed to be attractive?

I second that. Sigourney Weaver is the winner.

Moss isn't that ugly. In about half of the scenes in The Matrix she looks pretty attractive. In the rest, she doesn't.
How does that work?

I always thought Talisa Soto (Kitana in the Mortal Kombat movies) would have made a good Isard. She looked like she could be hot and cold at the same time.

Not bad, Joe. Not bad at all.
I'll see you a Talisa Soto and raise you a Sela Ward.
