Ylesia

Post by Cal Wright »

Oh hell yeah! The NEW E-book set in the NJO series directly before Destiny's Way. Learn how the Yuzhan Vong see the Peace Brigade and what the floundering New Republic are set to do about it. Get it now!!! It was actually really good, considering it had two things against it. 1)EU 2)NJO Series. Destiny's Way might just kick the ass out of the stagnant EU and put it back on track with Star Wars.

Actually, I think Ylesia may take place after the beginning of Destiny's Way, given that Jacen is back and appears to have been back for at least a little while. In the excerpts of Destiny's Way currently available, it appears Jacen has not yet returned. We never actually read about Jacen coming back in Ylesia, and the surely tearful reunion that would follow between himself and Jaina. And what of Vergere?

I'm studying for the CPA exam. Have a nice summer, and if you're down just sit back and realize that Joe is off somewhere, doing much worse than you are.

Just go to Starwars.com. I actually went from theforce.net. They had a link for a report on Force Heretic I : Remnant. There they had the setup to purchase it. If you follow all the links you go to barnes & nobles.com. You will have to download a microsoft E-Reader program. It wasn't to much trouble. It's 127pgs btw. I read it in about two hours.

One more thing that I was reminded of in Ylesia. Long before the NJO I had created this character Cal Wright for AoL Chat room/board simming. I also use it on the microsoft zone. Then the NJO rolled around and Cal Omas appears as a senator. In Ylesia they make mention of him again as he is elected Chief of State. Just bear in mind, if you ever go into the AoL rooms, don't use any Star Wars names. It's been noted at least ONCE that an author has done this to gain inspiration and ideas for a story. Shadows of the Empire. heh.
