When Queen Amidala was in the Senate chamber arguing that the Trade Federation had invaded her world, why didn't she bring along the Jedi as witnesses?

Amidala was forced to forego protection by the Jedi
1. Because it was unnecessary. The Senate Hall is HIGHLY secure.
2. The Jedi had already accomplished their mission, as demonstrated by their conversation with the Jedi Council.

I'd bet Jedi were not aloud to testify before then Senate. That would make people less willing to talk to them and allow them to negotiate conflicts. The whole point of the Jedi is to avoid the need to go though the senate anyway.
Kind of like how United States secret service agents cant be called into court to testify, because it would greatly impede there presidential protection role if Presidents felt they needed to hid stuff from them.

As per the opening craw, the Jedi were SECRETLY dispatched by the supreme chancellor.

Actually, the EU describes that the Jedi were supposed to answer directly to the Senate, and that Valorum bent the rules when he unilaterally dispatched Qui-Gon to Naboo.

Exactly. Amidala couldn't use them to testify because the Jedi were never supposed to be at Naboo. Pretty simple.

It would have been unnecessarely if she asked the jedi. Maybe Yoda ''saw'' that there is no need to sent more jedi like Jinn and Obi.

The Jedi not being allowed is probally the best way to describe it. Other than the Chancelor secretly puting Jedi on Naboo, he could have not wanted to be seen using force against the Trade Federation which he is not sure to use force against the Trade Federation or Nebular Front in Cloak of Deception.
Jedi are also hated by most denizens of Coruscant and other planets for the peoples superstions on how Jedi play with peoples minds and make them do things. and high office officials feel it would be a threat if Jedi were in the Senate.
In AOTC when Anakin and Padme are "playing" in the field and Anakin talks about a single person making people agree might not have been a joke at all or had a double meaning when he says "Of course not me" he could be coming off with a statement on how Jedi arent allowed to appear in anything in the government that deals with problems between the senate or anything outside of the Jedi dursitinction.
